Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to our website (“the Site”). We value the rights of intellectual property and expect others to respect our rights in return. According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), a copyright owner or their agent can send us a takedown notice through our DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA against infringement claims. To submit a valid infringement claim, certain information must be provided:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- An authorized signature of the copyright owner or their representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed;
- Location of the infringing material and details to help locate it;
- Contact information of the complaining party;
- A statement confirming the unauthorized use of the material;
- A statement verifying the accuracy of the notification and the authority of the complaining party.
Additionally, section 17 USC §512(f) imposes penalties against those who provide false information in an infringement claim.
Takedown notices should be sent through our Contact page via email for quicker processing.
Please be aware that we may disclose the identity of the copyright infringer to the complainant. By submitting a claim, you agree to this disclosure.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you receive a takedown notice due to a copyright claim, you have the option to send a counter notification to have the material restored. The notification must include:
- Your signature;
- Description of the removed material and its original location;
- A statement confirming your belief that the removal was a mistake;
- Your contact details and consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court.
Send your counter notice through our Contact page, preferably via email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We are committed to upholding copyright laws and identifying repeat infringers. Accounts of repeat offenders will be terminated.
